Very poor and horrible service. Please do not book at this hotel. The lady at the restaurant is very arrogant and rude. We paid 12000 rs for 5 rooms and this is the kind of treatment we are getting. 0 rating for this hotel

Understaffed and showing its age

I have stayed multiple times at the hotel over the last 10 - 12 years and have been satisfied with my previous stays. It is the first time I am visiting in the last 4 years and it was an average stay this time. The first thing apparent on entering the premises was that they appear to be understaffed now. The parking area was nearly full and there was no security person to help with parking my car. Later on, the same thing was visible at the restaurant, where just 2-3 people were struggling to manage the show. The room was comfortable, but showed its age, with the furniture and doors not coping well. The towels were old and worn out. The big advantage with the hotel is its location right next to the base of the hill, close to the walking path up the hill.

Stayed at Subham with family of 8 including kids Pro 1. Location of the hotel is right in next to the entrance of the temple. 2. Room room we took was triple room was spacious had a big king size bed and a single bed. 3. Staff's are very courteous and informative. Con 1. Old hotel with need of serious refurbishment and maintanence. 2. Big bed but hard sunk mattress. 3. Linen cleanliness not top notch but acceptable. 4. Room and bedroom cleaning need serious consideration.

Located exactly at the bottom of the entrance to the hill , called the adivaram. access to the hotel is a challenge by car. the rooms are good and there are rooms facing the hill temple.the restaurant is ok with shortage to staff. so is the front desk. overall a satisfying experience.

Best location if you're climbing Palani temple by steps (walkable distance). Ample car parking space. Clean rooms for a pilgrimage hotel. Just be aware that booking using MakeMyTrip you get check in only at 12 noon.
